She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mills Hawks and Margaret Whitelaw Burton; her husband Francis Hal Vandiver (Budder); her siblings, Ann Hawks Nimocks and James Mills Hawks, Jr. (Jimmy); and her grandson James Carey Vandiver, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Francis Hal Vandiver, Jr., James Carey Vandiver, Sr. and Dana Dean Vandiver; and her siblings-in-law, Al Nimocks and Sharon Hawks. She is also survived by her sons, two daughters‐in‐law, five grandchildren.
