He is survived by: his son Scotty Harpole of Aubrey, Arkansas; his stepchildren, Jason Yarbrough of Brinkley, Arkansas and Tonya Grimes (Floyd) of Rich, Arkansas; his sister Linda Faye Ashburn of Aubrey, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Shelby Ford, Austin Ford, Floyd Grimes Jr. and Skyler Grimes; and his close friend Darcy Densmore. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
