It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Louise Barnes of Forrest City, Arkansas, born in Hughes, Arkansas, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Jackson Sr. and Lucilla Hamby Jackson; and her siblings, Ladell Moody, Diane Jackson, Johnny Jackson and John Jackson.
She is survived by: her husband Glenn Barnes; her sons, Jerry McCoy of Wynne, Shane Faulkner of Wynne and Lance Cooper (Carla) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; her stepdaughter Lisa Thurmond of Rosebud, Arkansas; her siblings, Wayne Jackson (Beverly) of Forrest City, Billy Jackson of Forrest City, Charlie Jackson (Sue) of Forrest City, Jerry Jackson of Wynne, Lynn Ray Jackson (Barbara) of Forrest City, Ricky Jackson of Forrest City, Arkansas, Martha Atkins of West Memphis, Linda Sue Weddington of Forrest City and Glenda Zambroni (Jimmy) of Memphis, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Xander Cooper, Jennifer Owen, Jessica Bishop, Amber Chapman, Matthew McCoy and Jackson McCoy. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
