She was predeceased by: her parents, E. E.'Bud'Thomas Thomas and Ada Deere Thomas; and her husband John Elvin Smith. She is survived by: her sons, John Elvin Smith Jr. of Camden and James Ray Smith (Marveta) of Forrest City; and her siblings, Lloyd Thomas of Forrest City, David Thomas of Louisiana, Jerry Thomas of Houston, Christine Jones of Palestine, Gracie Poindexter of Heber Springs, Kathy Burke of Jonesboro and Carol Pruitt of Forrest City. She is also survived by three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
