He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Clyde Thompson Sr. and Martha Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Thompson; his children, Larry Silski (Charlotte) of Wynne, Arkansas and Denise Yates (Danny) of Forrest City, Arkansas; his sister Joan Beard of Missouri; and his grandchildren, Coy Yates, Kimberly Dailey (Nathan), Shauna Silski and Kara Silski. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
