With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Thigpen of Forrest City, Arkansas, who passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Thigpen and Elrea Elliot Thigpen; and his brother Franklin Thigpen. He is survived by: his wife Betty Thigpen; his children, Joey Thigpen of Forrest City, Lance Thigpen (Susan) of Forrest City, Angie Lacey of Forrest City and Leigh Ann Laird (Avery) of Wynne; his brother Harold Thigpen of Forrest City; and his grandchildren, Meagan, Tiffany, Jeremiah, Maegan, Clay, Kylie, Jarrett, Hunter and Charley. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
