She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Thornton and Maureen Miller Thornton; and her siblings, Margie Thornton Alford, Mary Thornton Tuck, Linda Dianne Thornton, Peggy Jo Thornton, Doris Melton, David Thornton and James Leo Thornton.
She is survived by: her close friend Leroy Lathon; her children, Dameion Donerson (Irennee) of Dallas, Texas and Tamiki Thornton of St. Louis Missouri; and her siblings, Richard Thornton of Wynne, John Clifton (Jacky) of Texas, Martha Alice Hastings of Forrest City, Barbara (Arthur Trevino), Dorothy Thornton of Forrest City and Jackie Thornton Billingsley (John) of Cabot, Arkansas. She is also survived by niece's and nephew's friends and family.
