She was predeceased by: her parents, Presley Ottmar James and Jennie Elwanda Jones James; her husband Gerald Oswalt; her siblings, Kenny James and Barbara Lee; and her son-in-law John Hunter.
She is survived by: her children, Will Oswalt (Penny) of Jonesboro and Brenda Hunter of Jonesboro; and her siblings, Jerry James of Lonoke, Mae James of Carlisle and Wanda James of Carlisle. She is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stevens Funeral Home (220 N Washington St, Forrest City, AR 72335). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
