He was predeceased by: his former wife Teri Golden; his parents, Robert Samuel Golden, Sr. and Ernestine Brummett Golden; and his siblings, Bob Golden and Edna Ruth Cleghorn.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Golden; his children, Angela Tyree of Texas, Chris (Kathi Golden) and Jason (Beverly Golden); and his niece Kathy Gauldin. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, number of nieces, nephews, friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gravelly Cemetery.
