With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sallie Marie Jones of Fordyce, Arkansas, born in Spruce Pine, Alabama, who passed away on July 11, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Vines and Mary Etta Estes Vines; her husband James Horace Jones; her stepmother Lizzie Bowkin; her children, Linda Marie Jones and James Gary Jones; and her siblings, Maranda Gertrude Vines Berry, Jewel Leon Vines, William Frazier Vines and Lans Laneve Vines.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Dale Jones of Hampton, W. Gail Trudell (Jimmy) of Fordyce and Nancy K. Arnold of Camden. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
