She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Rutherford and Mae Bell Rutherford (Gilliam); her husband Woodrow Hillman; and her siblings, Dorothy Pearson (Mac) and Horace Rutherford, Jr. (Mary Ann).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas "Woody" Hillman and Susan Hillman (Randy Gifford). She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stoney Point Cemetery (1337 AR-229, Fordyce, AR 71742). During COVID, the city held a parade in front of her home to celebrate her 100th birthday and for her 102nd, she was awarded the key to the city as Fordyce's favorite centenarian.
