With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Gornatti Smith of Fordyce, Arkansas, who passed away on August 3, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Gornatti and Minerva Gornatti; her brother A. J. Gornatti (Sonny); her sister-in-law Ann Gornatti; and her nephew Joe Gornatti.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh Edward Smith, Jr. of Fordyce; her daughters, Rebecca Smith May (Tom) and Julie Smith Pennell (Russ) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Jordan May of Chicago, IL, Morgan Buck (Donavin) of West Richland, WA and Emily Winkel (Ryan) of Flower Mound, TX; her great grandchild Hallie Buck; and her nieces, Lisa Gornatti and Maria Gornatti of Little Rock.
