It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Ray Petray of Fordyce, Arkansas, born in Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Floyd Petray and Inez Walters Davis; and his stepfather Earl Davis. He is survived by: his wife Karen Petray of Fordyce; his children, Hunter Petray of Bella Vista, Jeff Petray (Jennifer) of Heber Springs, Kim Stanton (Vince) of Smackover and Bobbie Bell (Nathan) of Rison; his sister Linda Harris (Sam) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Sawyer Stanton (Morgan), Spencer Doolin (Zach), Autumn Petray, Preslie Petray, Julie Bell and Mallory Bell; and his great grandchildren, Will Stanton and Adleigh Stanton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dallas County Library or to the Calhoun County Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.).
