He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Johnson and Olivia Johnson; his wife Billie "Short" Johnson; his son Jamie Johnson; his granddaughter Jennifer Gray; and his siblings, Russell Johnson and Pauline Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Carla McKinley and Billy; his grandson Brayden of Batesville, AR; his children, Jimmy Johnson, Jr., Keith of Grosse Tete, LA, Paula Landreneau, Bob of Lafayette, LA and Teresa Robison of Lafayette, LA; and his stepgranddaughter Jana Thompson of Fordyce. He is also survived by five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
