With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh Albert Nutt of Fordyce, Arkansas, who passed away on July 30, 2021 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hugh Albert Nutt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Harrison Nutt and Kitty Corrine Robertson Nutt; and his brother Rusty Nutt. He is survived by: his wife Karen Nutt of Fordyce; his son Benjamin M. Nutt; his brother Bill Nutt (Sue) of Fordyce; and his grandchildren, Jay Walley, Marion Nutt, Sarah Nutt, Tommy Hugh Nutt, Kinley Shankles and Carter Shankles.

He was upset when Fordyce won their most recent state championship and he could not attend because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fordyce Redbug Foundation or the Fordyce First United Methodist Church.
