It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mitchell Goggans of Fordyce, Arkansas, born in Kingsland, Arkansas, who passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace E. Mitchell and Mary Jewel Graves Mitchell; her husband Fay Goggans; and her siblings, Arnold Mitchell, Roy Mitchell, Kathleen Ferguson, Gwen Douglass, Laverne Rotton, Polly Mitchell and Wanda Newton.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Goggans Johnson (David); her grandson Darren Johnson (Julie); her great grandchildren, Brice Johnson and Jessica Johnson; and her siblings, James Mitchell and Doris Lisemby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
