He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ezell (Charlie) and Robbie Lavern Erwin Ezell; his wife Emma Jean Ezell; his son Charles Edward Ezell; and his brothers, Larry Hart, Tracy Hart and Larry Ezell.
He is survived by: his children, Cyndi, Diana Lynn Ray, Cynthia Ann Mitchell and William Jeffery Ezell (Amanda); his grandchildren, Adrian David Minton, Rodney Edward Kirkpatrick (Charity), Tyler Jordan Mitchell, Kevin Lee Ray (Jordan), Kerry Lynn Ray (Jessica), Joshua William Ezell, Melissa Ezell and Noel Ezell; and his siblings, Bill Ezell, Brenda Ezell and Jody Hainey (Jamie). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
He volunteered along with Emma for the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life.
