She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richard Brinkley and Audie Cowen Dees; her brother Tommy Brinkley; her husband David Posey; her daughter Sherri Edley; and her grandchildren, Robert Edley and Tara Nicole.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Clayton of Floral; her brother Donald Brinkley of Gilbert, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Courtni Middleton, Chelsie McCollum, Kimberly Smith and Kaitlynn Chrisco. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
