He was predeceased by: his father Shelby Blount. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Sandra Marbaise (Jon) of Little Rock and Brenda Bailey (Bob) of Little Rock; and his grandchildren, Lauren Madden (Andrew) of Nashville, Dr. Jenna Bailey of Little Rock, Bella, Ethan Marbaise and Little Rock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews that he loved; and other relatives and friends.
