He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Norton and Mattie Norton (Copeland); his son Lynn Carroll Norton; and his siblings, Avery Norton, Harold Norton and Ruby Watson (Norton).

He is survived by: his wife Prudence Norton (Benegar). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
