He was predeceased by: his father Richard Lee; and his siblings, Mary Deatherage, Eldon Cranfill, Barbara Cranfill and Truman Cranfill.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cranfill (Owen); his daughters, Woodena Cranfill Mays (Howard), Regina Cranfill, Roberta Cranfill Moser (Tommy) and Sharleta Cranfill (Chris); his grandchildren, Kayla Mays, Richard Mays and Alvin Moser; and his sisters, Sharon Shrum and Evelyn Denton (John).
