She was predeceased by: her parents, W. O. Thomas and Stella Thomas; her children, Cara Lee and Michael Gene; and her sisters, Letha Gordon, Emma Deutsch, Zola Mae Cobb, Wrenva Potts and Imogene Hairston.
She is survived by: her children, Michella Xiques (Ray) and Marik Daniel (Christina); and her grandchildren, Jackie Daniel, Stacey Pearson, Amanda Howard, Jacob Yancey, Linda Gilbert, Jenisia Daniel, Michael Xiques, Toryn Daniel and Benjamin Xiques. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Library Ministry of First Baptist Church Flippin, or Elite Hospice.
