He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Dixon and Midgie Dixon; and his siblings, Richard Dixon, Lee Roy Dixon, Doyle Dixon, Wanda Lou Miller and Bernece Courtney.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Holleman; his children, Rick Dixon (Angel) of Waldenburg, Danny Dixon (Kimberly) of Fisher, Lorrie Hill (Troy) of Weiner and Lisa Chaplain (David) of Fisher; his grandchildren, Brian Dixon, Travis Dixon, Shea Hill, Meagan Jernigan, Seth Hill and Anna Chaplain; his great grandchildren, Addyson Biggs, Braydon Dixon and Violet Jernigan; and his sister Donna Rowden. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
