He is survived by: his wife Ruth Willis (Smith); his daughters, Nancy Jennings, Melissa Whiteside and Rebecca Thomas; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Jennings, Jerica Woodward, Michael Whiteside, Daniel Whiteside, Christopher Whiteside, Amanda Jameson and Jonathan Jameson. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
