He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Cooper and Ellen Cooper (Maddox); and his brothers, Laverne, David and Donald Lee Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Lacretia Cooper (Evins); his sons, Terry Crae Cooper, Oakley Randon Cooper and Bart Durrell Cooper; and his sister Anita Block of Brookland. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
