He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Pitts and Lucy Pitts (Gosser); his wife Madaline Carylon Pitts (Williams); and his siblings, Carl Jean, Darlene Smith and Maxine Trammell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ronnie Pitts and Irene Wilming; his sons, Dwayne Pitts (Dorcas Pitts), Barry Pitts (Teresa Pitts) and Daryl Pitts (Kathleen Pitts); and his grandchildren, Callie, Brandon, Tyler, Autumn, Karli and Kayla. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
