He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Vada Scales Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Dixon (Kinman); his daughter Patricia Ann Patterson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his stepson Johnny Dale Logsdon; and his grandchildren, Loretta Alice Griffin and Danny Wayne Patterson. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; along with many extended family and friends.
