He is survived by: his son William N. Smith IV; his daughter-in-law Kathleen Smith of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his grandchildren, William N. Smith, Thomas Michael Smith and Austin Ditch; and his great grandchild Sabrina Deidre Snider (Darrell Snider) of Fayetteville, Arkansas..
