He is survived by: his wife Jo Ella Alderson (Patrick); his sons, Rodney Alderson (Tina Anne) of Fayetteville and Greg Alderson (Christie) of Springdale; his grandson Aaron Alderson (Lydia) of Gentry; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Anne and Vivian Lee; and his siblings, Von, Johnny, Glendon and Ruth Alderson.
