He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Asa and Rosemary Ilene Goodyear Hays. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hays; his children, Brian Hays (Paula) of Pettigrew and Stacey Spossey (Wray) of St. Augustine, Florida; his grandchildren, Antonia, Madalyn, Connor, Austin, Tasha, Belinda and Ashley; his great grandchild Amelia; his siblings, Jeanette Vaughan, Sherri Hays and Robert; and his sister-in-law Sue Hays. He is also survived by eight other great-grandchildren.
