He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ralph and Hazel Bowne Ourand. He is survived by: his wife Jennie Wallin; his children, Janice Fritsch (late Rick), Richard (late Donna), Nancy Schneider (David) and Bill (Marquetta); his grandson Will (Katie); his children, Rachel White (Elias), Jennie Delgado (Sergio), Trey (Jenny), Ray Schneider and Becca Herrig (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Claire Ourand, Paige Ourand, Mateo Delgado, Mara Delgado, Jaxson Herrig and Wyatt Herrig.
In 2001, Dick was awarded the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Volunteer of the Year.
Dick also donated over 26 gallons of blood over the years.
