He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Johnson Jefferson; his children, Phil Jefferson (Amy) and Genia High (Kerry); and his brothers, Ivan Jefferson, Charles Jefferson (Aline) and Dan Jefferson (Barbara). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
