He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Louise Hannah and Peter Gay Estes Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Amy Estes Turner and Peter G. "Tripp" Estes (Brandy); his grandchildren, Abigail Elizabeth Estes, Hannah Kathryn Estes and Alexander Estes Turner; and his sister Janet Estes Brown. He is also survived by his friends, children and grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or to the Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville.
