She is survived by: her husband Jim Pierson; her children, Kathy Fasl (John) of Austin, Texas, Susan Slezak (Dennis) of Safety Harbor, Sally Pierson of Fort Worth, Texas, David Thornbrugh (Judy) of Winter Haven, Florida, Jim Thornbrugh (Laura) of Key West, Florida, Steve Thornbrugh of Merriam, Kansas and James R. Pierson II of Naperville, Illinois; and her sister Karen Sullivan of Owasso, Oklahoma. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
