She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Heineman and Katherine Heineman (Wagner); her former husband Col. Joe R. O'Neal; and her sons, Michael O'Neal and Robert O'Neal.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy O'Neal of Fayetteville, AR, Mary Russell (Mike) of Fayetteville, AR, Patrick O'Neal (Robyn) of Yorktown, VA and David O'Neal; and her daughters-in-law, Pamela Wood of Silverdale, WA and Meg O'Neal of Boise, ID. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
