Martha Ruth Shackelford Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ruth Shackelford of Fayetteville, Arkansas, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Shackelford and Dilla Shackelford (Hollingsworth); her siblings, Wilma, Velma, Flora, Mary, Wade, Albert, Olin, Carl and Roy; and her son-in-law Frank Richert (Glen Shackelford).
She is survived by: her sisters, Floy Robbins of Crosses and Dora Jordan of Wichita, Kansas; her children, Glenda Richert of Elkins, Kathy Baker (Billy) of Elkins and Wayne Shackelford (Cindy) of Hazel Valley; and her grandchildren, Duane Richert (Marla) of Elkins, John Richert (Pam) of Lowell, Kerry Shackelford of Elkins and Jessica Carter (Steven) of Elkins. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hazel Valley Community Church Cemetery in her memory.
