She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frank Richard Prassel; her son Frank Hetherington Prassel (Virginia Leigh Caruthers); her grandchildren, Helen Ann Prassel and Frank Caruthers Prassel; her sisters, Ethel H. Perina, Charlotte H. Hetherington and Jane H. Brown (Norman); and her parents, Charles S. Hetherington and Helen B. Hetherington. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
