She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Dickerson and Henrietta Dickerson. She is survived by: her husband Robert Safford; her daughters, Marian Mitchell (Joe), Susan Safford (Gregory Berzinski) and Pamela McCarty (Matt); her grandchildren, Anna, Gregory, Darcy, Benjamin and Joshua; and her sisters, Jill Gibbs (Mike) and Lynda Khouzam (Hani).
