He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick P. Lancaster and Emma C. Dolechek Lancaster; and his siblings, Fred Lancaster, Jr., Lanes Lancaster, Virginia Welch, Vivian Feldman and JoEllen Craft.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Lancaster; his daughter Cathy Long of Fayetteville; his siblings, Luetta Katz, Emily White (Jay) and Marvin Lancaster of Colorado; and his grandchildren, T. J. Barnes, Darick Barnes of Arkansas and Jon Long of Kansas.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic School Panther Athletics, 1722 N Starr Road, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701.
