He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marie Hudson Walters and Billy Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Jean Read Hudson of Pine Bluff, Ark.; his children, Robert Read Hudson (Tammy Stafford Hudson) of Fayetteville, Ark. and Helen Marie Holtzen (George Darren Holtzen) of Fayetteville, Ark.; his grandchildren, Robert Read Hudson, Jr. of Dallas, Tex, Samuel Stafford Hudson of Dallas, Sarah Marie Holtzen of Fayetteville, George Andrew Holtzen of Tacoma, Wash, Jenny Holtzen Hines (Tyler) of Milwaukee and Wis; and his sisters, Joyce McDaniel of Tucson, Ariz, Anna Spengler of Boise, Pat Hudson of Carlsbad and Calif.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Razorback Foundation, Habitat for Humanity in Pine Bluff, or First United Methodist Church of Pine Bluff.
