He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Douglas and Molly Hill Sr. (Birdsong); his wife Sallie Hill; and his sister Betty Lou Hill. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Andrew Hill (Denise) and David Hill (Quida); his grandchildren, Ashley Robbins, William Hill, Joshua Hill, Creed Hill, Alicia Hill-Wheeler (William), Joshua Meltzer, Amanda Rhodes and Jeremiah Meltzer; and his sisters, Joanne F Winsett (Hill) and Edwynne Elizabeth Kalb (Hill). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
