She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen C. Raines and Charlotte Doty Raines; her son Frank E. Sparks (Rusty); her grandson Christopher Runnells; her siblings, Allen Raines, Jr. and Frances R. Chaffin; and her cousin Charles R. Emerson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Sparks; her children, Sharon Davis (Jean) and Robert Sparks, Jr.; her grandsons, Corey R. Runnells (Sheryl) and Joshua Aaron (Kelly); and her brother J. W. Buddy Raines. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
