It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Warren Schmutz of Fayetteville, Arkansas, born in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ralph and Ruth Rockey Schmutz; his brother John Lawrence Schmutz; and his former wife Sharon Boyle Schmutz. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ransberger Schmutz; and his children, Mark L. Schmutz, Melanie G. Nugent of Minnesota, Cheryl A. Kennedy of Texas and Natalie W. Olsen of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
