He was predeceased by: his father Ernst. He is survived by: his husband Doug; his children, Annalise (Ge), Elijah, Joshua and Aaron; his mother-in-law Nancy; his sisters, Charlotte (Kurt) and Dorothee (Gideon); his nephew Benny; his sister-in-law Nicola; and his pets, Charlie and Tucker.
