He is survived by: his wife Sandra McNew; his brother Charles McNew; and his children, Jimmie McNew, Jr. (Nguyen), Jeff McNew, David McNew (Michelle) and Terri Hughes (Roy). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
