It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Evan McDevitt in Fayetteville, Arkansas, born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDevitt and Clyda McDevitt (Walker). He is survived by: his wife Tammy Butterfield McDevitt; his children, Malachi McDevitt and Madison Kay McDevitt; his grandchildren, Adalynn Brooke Myers and Baylor Lee Threikeld; his siblings, Deborah Beever (William), Denise Waldrip (Rod), Dawn Fergerson (Brent) and John McDevitt IV; his aunt Joyce Wiebbecke (Tom); and his uncle Charles Walker (Gerri).
