He is survived by: his wife Martha Rice Brewer; his children, Hugh Rice Brewer, Sr., Arthur Payne Brewer and Martha Brewer Sharkey (Marti); his grandchildren, Andrew Payne Brewer (Jayne), Blake Morrow Brewer, Hugh Rice Brewer, Jr. (Liz), Leigh Taylor Allison Stidham (Tim), Caroline Brewer Sharkey and Martha Christine Sharkey; his great grandchildren, Micah James Brewer, Noah Payne Brewer, Emery Taylor Stidham and Anna Margaret Stidham; and also, Tina Jones Brewer (Payne) and Craig T. Sharkey (Marti).
