He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Shackelford and Otha Garrison Shackelford; his brother Bill Shackelford; and his son-in-law Frank Richert. He is survived by: his wife Martha Shackelford; his children, Glenda Richert of Elkins, Kathy Baker (Billy) of Elkins and Wayne Shackelford (Cindy) of Hazel Valley; and his grandchildren, Duane Richert, John Richert, Kerry Shackelford and Jessica Carter. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
