He was predeceased by: his parents, Therman Flota and Hester Flota; his wife Janet; and his sister Sharon. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Flota and John Paul Flota; his stepdaughter Jennifer Aguinaldo; his adoptive daughter Georgia; and his grandchildren, Sierra Ruettgers, Tyler Aguinaldo, Adrian Aguinaldo and Kalleigh Maxwell.
