He is survived by: his significant other Nita Calvert; his siblings, Mary Etta Jafek (David) and Doug Cox; and his children, Michael Cox (Courtney), Paige McAlister (Logan), Mark Cox (Lara), Erin Cox and Bailey Cox. He is also survived by six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Northwest Arkansas Salvation Army or World Central Kitchen.
